The Occupational Health Department at Wirral University Teaching Hospital exists to provide a comprehensive, proactive occupational health service for its staff and local businesses, delivered by a team of qualified specialists in a range of medical, nursing and psychology fields.

How to refer staff to Occupational Health
If a manager has concerns about the effects of work on an employees health or the effects of a health problem is affecting their performance or attendance at work they should refer the employee using the trusts 'Healthy Working' Referral form. If the referral is due to work related stress you should also complete the following Stress Risk Assessment form as per Stress Management Policy and send a copy to Occupational Health.
