The Integrated Library Service (ILS) Library Catalogue allows you to search for items available at the McArdle Library, Arrowe Park Hospital and the John Aitken Library, Clatterbridge.

Reserving and renewing items
Items can be renewed in person, by telephone, email and online. Please view our contact details.
If you send an email out of hours, the renewal will be back-dated so that you are not charged a fine. You will receive a reply email confirming whether or not the items have been renewed. We would aim to get back to you in 2 working days (Monday to Friday) to confirm receipt and actioning of your renewal.
To renew or reserve books online you will need to access your own personal borrower information. Items can only be reserved if they are currently on loan to another library user. This area of the catalogue requires you to log in using your Reader Code and PIN, please see library staff for more details.
Items can be renewed a maximum of three times. A renewal will be declined if another library user has reserved the item.

Searching for items
If you know the item you are looking for, type the Author or Tile in the Search box, e.g. Seedhouse.
If you looking for books on a certain subject, type the name of the subject you are looking for in the Search box e.g. diabetes.
If you cannot find a book on our catalogue, we may be able to obtain it via our Inter Library Loan Service or even purchase a copy for library stock. To suggest a stock item please link here.
