E-books
What is an e-book?
An e-book (short for electronic book) is a book that is published in electronic form, for example on the Internet or on a disk, and not printed on paper. E-books provide the benefits of 24/7 availability and allow you to read the e-book without visiting the library in person.
Where do I access e-books?
You can search for e-books and access them directly from the library catalogue from any NHS computer.
Or you can access them on any computer from the e-book section of NHS Evidence. Just go to the Journals and Databases section of NHS Evidence, select Access ebooks and log in with your NHS Athens user name and password.
