HROD Development Section
The Development Team comprises of the Leadership and Development Centre, Elm House, Clatterbridge Hospital and the Integrated Library Service with libraries at Arrowe Park Hospital, McArdle Library and Clatterbridge Hospital, John A Aitken Library
The remit of the Leadership & Development Centre includes the provision of National Vocational qualifications, Skills for Life Programmes and leadership and management programmes. The co-ordination of the Knowledge and Skills Framework forms part of the remit of Competency and Leadership Development Services and is also based at the Centre.
The Integrated Library Service offers a comprehensive information resource and facilities to all staff. The service provides a wide selection of books and journals, access to an Inter Library Loan Service, comprehensive access to electronic health related databases and the Internet. Photocopying, printing, scanning and fax facilities are also available. A Clinical Librarian Service and Community Outreach Service is also provided.
