Practice Facilitator (PEF) Team
The role of the Practice Facilitator Team is to ensure the provision of high quality learning environments for all pre-registration students within Wirral University Teaching Hospital. We assist in ensuring that every student receives an outstanding clinical placement experience, which meets both quality assurance standards and regulatory body requirements.
We offer support on educational issues to any student or member of staff at Wirral University Teaching Hospital. This may include:
- Providing on-site support to Students/ Staff with educational concerns/queries
- Information on the completion of student paperwork
- Support with the Student and Mentor with the development of action plans
- Support with Students requiring reasonable adjustments
- Information on Supervisor Mentorship courses
- Information on university curriculum’s/requirements

We are located in C Block to the left of Arrowe Park Hospital’s Estate when entering the Trust’s grounds.
