Surgical Division
Welcome to the Surgical Division.
The division consists of:
The Directorate of Special Surgery, which comprises five specialties – Dermatology; Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT); Maxillofacial Surgery; Ophthalmology and Orthodontics.
The Directorate of General Surgery and Urology is responsible for emergency and elective in-patient and out-patient treatment consisting of Wirral Breast Care Unit, Colorectal Unit, Paediatric Surgery, Upper GI, Vascular Surgery, and Urology.
The Surgical Division also consists of the Audiology Department, Theatres, Anaesthetics and Critical Care Unit and Trauma and Orthopaedics.
